Home Computer Audio Asylum

Music servers and other computer based digital audio technologies.

I suspect it has someting to do with Qobuz protocol

Perhaps Qobuz inherently "stutters" at times where the RPi buffer absorbs the inconsistent stream. :)

I regularly listen to lengthy tracks upstairs from my music server with the uRendu via ethernet and don't experience difficulties of the sort he mentions. Certainly not track jumping.

For me, the RPi buffer helps with my WiFi connected garage system when streaming hi-rez (88/24+) content. I can even power cycle the nearby access point which serves as a repeater and the player keeps a goin'. :)
