Im sure the Lynx L22 and RME 96/8 are great sounding, but they seem to be way to many features that Ill never need, it seems like overkill. Does anyone make a card of this quality but with basic features. Im not going to be doing any recording so I don't need all the I/O that these pro cards have. I just want a very high quality but basic stereo sound card, I don't need tons of i/o since im not doing any recording. I need just a basic RCA or XLR output, a spdif output and thats pretty much all I really need. M-audio's Audiophile 24/192 is closer to what I need but id like something a little higher quality.Does RME or Lynx make a more basic soundcard??? How about the Linx Studio Tech One, this seems like it has a more basic set of features and I/O than the L22???
Thanks
Frank
