Recently:

I liked the $450 sMS-200 better than the $640 microRendu.

I also sold my MSB Technology Analog DAC / Analog Power Base for the lower priced Ayre QX-5 Twenty. I liked the Ayre better.

So as we all know, more expensive isn't necessarily better. But, you can't dismiss something as bullshit until you have tried it. On the other hand, I have financial limits for this stuff just as most of us do.

I guess I've reached a point in my life that I don't have to rationalize not owning some of the very expensive components. I try to enjoy what I have.
