They say iTunes (the store) populates the grouping tag.
As I never bought something from iTunes I can't confirm this.
Getting the composition is indeed trouble some
GD3 does it , AMG too, but certainly not 100%
Gracenotes, MusicBrainz often even don't recognize the album.
I populate my composition tag (and Opus and year composition) by using the MusiCHI tagger.
Save me a lot of time.
With the player I use (MusicBee) I have no problems searching and displaying custom tags like "Composition".
The problem with most media player imho is the inability to tread compostion as a unity, just like albums.
