Have no experience with the Mytek but I do have the Benchmark DAC 1.
It is can drive my mono block perfectly.
IMHO these products are not a DAC but a pre-amp with digital inputs.
Some, like the Mytek, even have analog inputs as well.
At the time I bought the DAC I had a Densen pre-amp as well.
Removing it from the chain resulted in a slight increase in transparency.
As I don't have analog sources, I sold the Densen
