For me, solving the 60hz problems was the most important move I ever made. It required redesigning my system to utilize a single point ground. In my case I've made the PC the center of the star. It was challenging but I've found a configuration that literally removes all trace of 60Hz problems. Only when there was no more detectable trace of 60Hz problems, was I able to remove the dependence of the pc activity on my audio signal.
