Have a look at DLNA

Most todays receivers supports it.

You maintain your collection on your PC
The receiver accesses the PC over DLNA using WiFi or Ethernet
They often support Internet radio and streaming audio services as well.
Check if it plays from USB stick
Might have a USB input allowing it to act as a DAC for the PC
