BTW, my big tower computer is old and very reliable. While you already had 3 minis, I am still using the same tower computer with an Intel DuoCore! This is going on 10 years, and I built the computer for less than $500.
I've had my tower as long, maybe longer than 10yrs. It's been through several moboards/CPUs. I've never bought a PC going back through the 80's.
That said some (myself) feel the need to ditch the windows platform, making the move to IOS. As Abe showed, the MAC OS has it's benefits.
....Soldering memory to the moboard is about as stupid as it gets.
