RE: Converting between PCM and DSD

I am applying a low pass filter at playback at 50 KHz using J River. I assume it works as advertised, even if it is converting to higher sample rates internally, which I think it is. That filter should take care of high frequency noise going through the rest of the system.

This is at playback time.
If you use JRiver to convert, one has to explicitly invoke DSP studio to do the DSP.
As far as I know, if you use the format converter to convert DSD to PCM, it will convert to 384 by default.
Don't know if the 50 kHz is involved in this process.
Better ask here: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=38.0
