I have Foobar200 in Asio mode right now. I am using a Creative XFI for the moment while I figue out which external DAC to use, im thinking of building a DIY dac like the DDDAC or Audiosectors DAC. I just want to make sure im getting a bit perfect output to my DAC. If I use Foobar and the XFI setup in ASIO mode, will I be getting a bitperfect output from the XFI's Spdif output?? IN the XFI's "audio creation" mode there is a button for "bit matched playback/recording" and it says that it disables the EQ, EAX, and 24bit Crystalizer, so I would think that it would be sending a bit perfect signal?
