RE: A to D PC converter Lynx L22 or RME 9632

FWIW - I'm told that the Pure Vinyl staff suggested these three - Tascam US366 ($200), TC Impact Twin ($350) and Lynx Studio ($2k).

I just ordered the Tascam US322, which is limited to 24/96 as is my dac. The Tascam US366 does 24/192. I want to record to the same level as I will listen to avoid downsampling.

I use Vinyl Studio. My experience so far is with my motherboard based soundcard. I considered upgrading to the Asus Xonar or Juli@ but decided external would be better.

Other options include the Ayre QA-9, around $4k, which received high marks from John Atkinson and the just released PS Audio Nuwave Phono Converter at $1,895. It is capable of recording up to PCM 24/192 and DSD and is also a phono pre.
