Several people have posted that they transcode FLAC to PCM with Squeezebox Server, and they prefer the sound that way. I have been trying to find out how to do it. I have searched here and on the Wiki for Squeezebox and haven't been able to find it.
I did find the Advanced tab in the settings for Squeezeserver, and the File Types menu, but the pull downs for the different file types are rather cryptic and I can't pin down that I am converting to PCM for transfer to the Touch.
I would appreciate your help. I bet it is right in front of me and I am just not seeing it clearly.
Best,
Aaron.
