I am, Jitter is time shift; it is not noise and I wish that the 'experts' in this board be reasonably precise on what they say.
Any interface carries its own problems; no doubt the optical usb is modifying the signal in some way that may please some people more. It cannot be said to be superior to spdif without evidence. It all depends on how and what equipment is used to decode the two kinds of signals.
