You are probably correct about the sand not having much of an effect on RFI, and I agree it's hard to determine the effects of one factor from the other without getting real scientific in an experimental sense.If these threads get achieved I suspect people 50 years or so down the line will get a good chuckle at how naïve we were. About all we can do now is to make an “educated†guess at things and go from there knowing that there are likely a lot of “invisible†factors interacting in ways beyond our current understanding.
