Hi John,
Seems pretty straight forward to build, as well as inexpensive. Digikey doesn't carry the BC550C's.
Might you still have the Mouser part#'s handy for CR1?
I assume you're using this for one TDA1543, running at 6V from a 12V PS/SLA, since the IDD is 50mA.
Q: What's the effect/calculation of R1? I can see it's the same value as R2,R3.
