RE: DDDAC USB DAC w/Tent clock.......adding the Tent Shunt Vreg?

the BC550C regulator does quite a decent job for the clock and 2707. Yes you could replace it with the Tent shunt, but it probably is not going to make a significant difference.

There is a simple little regulator circuit that blows the 7806 out of the water. I don't have it here with me. I'll post it a little later.
That's much appreciated. I was going to put use an LT1963A, but I'll wait for yours. :)
