RE: Opinions needed about power supply condition

You didn't mention the brand, age of the computer, form factor of the motherboard, and type of power supply. I am assuming ATX but that's just a guess.

You also mentioned that the random booting occurs in your second computer tower, which tells me you have another tower PC. Is it the same form factor as the one having problems? Does it have the same size power supply with same mother board connectors? Is there any reason you can't swap power supplies for test purposes?
