I am very jealous of your setup. I am not familiar with Windows at all, doesn't Reaper have a config menu where you can select the hardware and ensure the bit rate/depth. Also I just today was looking for a machine capable of recording 32bit 384khz PCM. I'll look into this RME device for myself as I want to record a new album eventually at 32/384.
Your RME unit seems to be a great choice for archiving vinyl.
