An active 3-way DSP speaker. May be: Genelec 8351A SAM or the Kii Three.
2 years ago I switched from Klein & Hummel O300 active 3-way speakers too PMC TwoTwo 8 active digital 2-way DSP speakers.
Although the TwoTwo 8's are a big step up in sound quality, I still miss the '3 way effect'.
Although a 2-way may come close too the sound of a 3-way system, it never will sound like a 3-way.
So my next purchase will be an active 3-way DSP speaker.
I looked at PMC's gorgeous sounding IBS-A digital 3-way DSP monitors.
But at $ 37.000 these are far beyond budget. :-(
But there are others like the Genelec 8351A SAM or the Kii Three that also sound very good too my ears.
