RE: Hmmm

Can you summarize the 'intentional deception' for us, and explain how it was 'intentional', and why it even matters ?

You never answered my question about how you managed to measure this ADC's crosstalk at ~80dB down since the manufacturer doesn't provide this spec. How did you determine this on your own?

If I got this right, the manufacturer didn't specify their channel crosstalk for the ADC section of their DAC/ADC for which the most common application among most audiophiles is the DAC. But if you were to use the ADC section to digitize vinyl it seems to me that the spec that you claim to have measured is orders of magnitude better than what is required.

With phono cartridge separation and crosstalk typically in the 25dB to 45dB range even for the most costly $10,000+ USD cartridges, that 80dB figure on the ADC is several orders of magnitude better than what is practically required for digitizing vinyl.

Did you experience some sort of crosstalk issue with this ADC? Or do you just enjoy finding inconsequential anomalies in what manufacturers choose to publish (or not) in their data sheets?
