Sorry, I don't have any experience with fancy HDMI "extenders" of any sort, beyond the type that just sit at the end of a e.g. 20' HDMI cable and "repeat" the input signal; that type are very cheap, you just want to make sure they are HDCP-compliant for general use (monoprice has them e.g.).
I was mostly bothered with the AC noise generated by one of my displays, so I put it on a separate circuit. It's not by itself, it's with stuff like my subs which seem immune to it as far as I can tell. Not ideal, but the best I was willing to do: another AC circuit and I'll have to do a whole house panel upgrade.
Another thing I do is separate things that might interfere with each other, in space and AC power. I combine things on the same circuit that might interfere with each other, but I would never use those items at the same time, so it doesn't really matter. e.g. a "digital" pre-pro with an analog preamp, my "good" CD player with a (switching power supply) Oppo BDP, the turntable with a DAC. Similarly I space stuff in the rack so that the "better" gear is not directly above/below a potentially noisier device.
Above all, keep cables as short as is practical, and keep AC/analog/digital cables away from each other. It's all a bit of a dance, the power and positioning of stuff, it takes years of anality, trust me... I don't have any actual noise problems that I know of/can hear. (All my "serious" disc/file-playing is via balanced connections on the analog side, that might help, probably irrelevant for the short cables used. I also use balanced power for my sources where possible, and the analog preamp; that *does* make a diff here.)
It's not like my TV is on when I'm "seriously" listening to music, unless it's a concert disc. I do have a smaller LCD display for use when listening to music if needed, usually do need it for BD/DVD-A to select the tracks, it happens to not be very noisy and it's quite far from the audio gear (off a 20' HDMI).
