RE: Playing music files directly from a NAS.

Hi and thanks a lot again for the precious suggestions.

1) Could connecting all the units to a same power strip help in order to avoid possible ground loops ?
That would be maybe the easiest thing to do.

2) I am also thinking to try a optical connection for the dac, given that the dac shorted does not introduce hum.
The electrical noise coming from upstream would be killed at the optical connection.
