I have done quite a bit of searching in the archives and I am trying to figure out how to bypass the K mixer. I am currently using Foobar2000. I have downloaded the ASIO dll and installed it. I have selected ASIO as the playback device in the output dropdown menu (It reads ASIO: NVidia ASIO). However, the volume control still works through the windows volume control, as well as on my keyboard. Am I actually bypassing K mixer? Is there something I am missing? Currently I am not using an outboard DAC (I will in the near future). Does this make a difference?
