Replaced the board and gone is the BUZZ through the on board rca\spdif output connector. Of course there were other woderful problems like, the same board (replacement) came with a different bios wich really screwwed up the works until I flashed an updated bios and downloaded the latest drivers. Then there is the issue with the new DDR3 2000 memmory.
EVGA's (one) selling point that this board works with this ram may need to be reevaluated. It does not function with Patriot DDR3 2000 set at it's max potential. Other than that, all seems fine.
I plan to follow through on your advice and replace my preamp toggles with ground shifting rotary types asap. I have printed out your latest reply and will follow your advice here as well. Thaks for your help again.
