I still can't understand why HiFiBerry, Allo et.al have not come out with a I2S board with a HDMI connector.
The surface mount HDMI connectors are pretty cheap and most 'hats' get I2S from the Rpi anyway. The HiFiBerry board even has the solder points on the board marked for HDMI.
If that happened you could get one of these and be done...after you convert the RJ45 to HDMI.
