"Well I guess if Audiophiles didn't want it, it wouldn't sell."Well, in the case of Intona they DID sell but they've discovered a new market where they can sell more! JCAT already OEM's the Intona board and puts it in their fancier box. I have no idea how much they sell theirs for.
But until audiophiles discovered the benefits of USB galvanic isolation from Intona which supported USB 2.0 high-speed, there was nothing else on the market like it.
Now that there's an "easy chip" to accomplish the same thing we are seeing audiophile manufacturers jump in in true audiophile style: Easy to implement, cheap part, huge audiophile tax! ;-)
