You can get get the same charger below. I know Abe is trying to be helpful :( but IMO what you really want to do is just be sure your battery is charged then use a 3.3V linear supply to just keep the battery charged as was mentioned if you want to follow what was originally suggested. I actually had a DAC a friend built using an Acko board that is powered EXACTLY the way JK mentioned and it works EXACTLY as described.
Maybe just use a small adjustable regulated supply from Ebay.

This one is overkill up to 7A. Maybe get one that can provide at least 2A.
