Just to be clear, the fact that whether there is a native support for USB Audio Class 2 or it's via 3rd party driver doesn't impact the quality of sound?
This is again debatable. There are Windows, Mac, and Linux systems that sound incredible. In my opinion, having to load a 3rd party driver or having USB Audio Class 2.0 inherently supported by the OS should not be your main driving factor in choosing which OS to use.
Again, I would choose the OS that you are already most familiar with.
I've had Windows systems since the beginning of Windows, and Mac systems for many years now. My personal preference is Mac but that should not influence your choice.
