RE: Avoid Bluetooth if possible IMHO...

Thanks for the info and your condolences.
I am thinking a better soution might be to put a computer or server and the DAC next to the pre-amp and use a bluetooth transmitter/receiver to connect the headphone amp. That way the high quality (FLAC) will go un-compressed to the main system and the compressed signal will go to the headphones (less critical listening). I can control the computer via my iPhone. I currently use JRiver MC23 on the laptop running Ubuntu 16.04.
