I use a Korg MR-1 digital recorder now.
Years of trying to do it with a PC yielded so-so results. It worked most of the time...but occasionally I would find the PC hing up for some reason and portions would get skipped. Even worse is when things would get out of sync.
Plus the Korg does up to 192/24 and DSD64 with a really nice sounding ADC.
