This is a post from the Hi-Res forum (SACD). To put it in context you can go up one level. Then go down to my reply and then his response (assuming you are in "Classic" view). It's all a mystery to me.
I like it when things are simple, such as "a zero-feedback triode sounds better than an op-amp" rather than, "an op-amp sounds just as good as a zero-feedback triode, depending on where it is in the signal chain". Perhaps it is just a personal failing.
