Without knowing which albums you digitized (let's assume that they were pre-digital era analog recordings), then the only conclusion I can reach is that you were able to achieve audibly superior results from digitizing your vinyl than the record labels were able to achieve by digitizing the original master tape, presumably with higher quality equipment than the HRT Line Streamer+.
In the past we would have had to take into account any possible degradation caused by the CD replication and playback process, but I'm guessing that you are now listening to both commercially-available digital files and your digitized analog files through the same playback chain of a hard drive through a music playing software system to your DAC.
I've not done an experiment like this where I've been in control of all the variables, but I have listened to bit-torrents of digital files (all legal, as they were never commercially released) made from analog sources, and they were pretty poor sounding to my ears. Either the person making the files had a low-quality vinyl playback system, a low-quality ADC, or both. Nearly unlistenable, and very reminiscent of first-generation CD players - bright, etched, amusical, and uninvolving. Had to force myself to listen, simply because I was interested in historic bootleg-only live performances.
