I use a Sony D 100 recording in DSD 64 off my Mac 2500 Preamp.
I load the files onto my computer and play them with HQ Player or Sony HAP Z1, at DSD 128.
I use my best cables, and it works and sound fine. To me.
The only variable is getting the right recording level on the D100.
Is this as good as or better?
I don't know...
Probably not, but it's still pretty good.
