I agree that 5.6-MHz DSD is an outstanding format for recording vinyl. I use a TASCAM DA-3000 and I'm completely happy with its performance. I've never heard the Korg, but the TASCAM sounds awesome to me and you can buy it brand new for $1000. It records both hi-res PCM and DSD up to 5.6-MHz in addition to functioning as a digital player. It has a front panel USB port that accepts 64-GB flash drives for playback only. It uses SDHC cards and CF cards for recording and playback.
