if your oil supply was cut by 80%? That's what happened to Cuba in 1990. They've had to make a lot of adjustments, and all things considered, they're doing very well. Order the movie at the link - it talks about the changes, especially in agriculture, that were forced on them virtually overnight, and how they coped.Did you know that all agriculture in Cuba is now human/ox/horse powered, and it's all organic? And it's all being done by individual farmers and private operations, not collectives. I was surprised.
