They have a demonstration plant running using an enzymatic process. There has been no word yet on the life cycle EROEI of their process, which still requires energy for distillation. The analyses I've read of cellulosic ethanol are not optimistic on this score, though the process does address the requirement for food-grade carbohydrates as a feedstock.Apparently their plant can process 40 tonnes of cellulose per day, and is designed to produce 3 million liters (800,000 US gallons) of alcohol per year, but I've not heard anything about its actual alcohol output. They're still essentially an R&D company.
