Just as you shouldn't put words into my mouth, you shouldn't take them out either. Bad, unethical Victor. Here's what I said:

The importance of this map is that the facts it presents fit the observations we'd expect if the theory of Global Warming is correct (regardless of whether it's anthropogenic or not): greater average positive temperature anomalies towards the poles and over continental land masses, with the area covered by the anomalies being a significant part of the hemisphere.

I said nothing about specific temoperatures, and nothing about rates of rise. I merely said that the theory predicts anomalies with the same characteristics this one has. I also didn't say this was "evidence" of Global Warming. I said it was an "observation".
