Last night I spoke with a friend. He is devout. He said that his elderly mother, also very religious, started expressing reservations about the President a few months ago. She had been a very strong Bush supporter until then. He also wondered aloud about Biblical interpretations - the anti-Christ would appear as a charismatic leader, and plunge the world in to war. He too, was a strong Bush supporter until very recently.I, not being a devout Christian, found this perspective fascinating.
