What Pastor Alois Bell is lying about is her claim of leaving a $6 cash tip which anyone with a brain would know is a lie. Why? The waitress delivers ones bill to their table, that is where she would have seen the 18% tip of $6.29 and marked it out. In addition if she didn't want to leave more than 10% she would have left $3.50 not $6.00 as she claimed. Everyone at Applebee's including the management said she didn't leave any tip.
"EVERY time I'm in a large group and 18.5% is added for the tip, it is ingrained in the bill. There is no option to remove it. There was no such evidence on the printed receipt that the mandatory tip was somehow removed. A manager or someone would have had to approve a new bill with the 18% gratuity removed."

Total: $34.93 (hand written)Like I said above she and we will have to wait until she gets her credit card bill. If it says $34.93 she was not charged, if it says $41.22 she was charged the 18%. Sorry we don't have this answer yet.

Actually thinking it is a mistake is dangerous to the truth in future situations, Chelsea Welch must be vindicated and be a shinning light to those who wish to hide and conceal their actions. As I said my first post in this thread: Never write anything you're not proud of and don't want the whole world to see! Good advise to live by.
Chelsea Welch should be "Employee of the Month" and a hero for all members of the working class and Pastor Alois Bell should be banned from Applebee's and defrocked.
I liked Ivan303's solution:
"If I ran a restaurant and a customer refused to pay the service fee for a large group of people, said service fee clearly stated on the menu, I'd have called the cops!
And then posted the note he left on the internet myself."
