And not charge an upgrade for that POS.
Similar events have happened to us. The car rental agency not having a mid sized, so they offer a full sized "at the same price", only to find an additional charge later. Then the 45 minute phone call to remedy the situation. It's frustrating!
Sometimes you actually have to mention the State AG just to get some action.
