Redistribution by Federal funding is the whole purpose to help states with lagging economies, and I'm all for it. It's the hypocracy that those states who vote Republican, ranting and raving against "handouts" are the ones taking the most per capita- they don't realize that they are voting against their- and of course their own- state's interests when putting the tea baggers and conservatives in power.
