pulling V2

Since my speakers are supposedly 102 db sensitive, I have, of necessity, pulled V2 from the driver stage and substituted the requisite "shorting plug" from AS.

The question is, does this mean that my amplifiers now perform no actual "boost" to the incoming signal and, instead, only serve to increase the output impedance via the 6AS7s so that the amps (M60s) are nothing more than glorified output buffers, for lack of a better descriptor, to the speaker inputs?

Or, to put it more concisely...nothing V2entured, nothing gained?
