I guess it's a different remastering then. I'm listening to my copy of CD now and it is more than acceptable and quite comparable to other recordings of the era. It's one of the "Greatest Recordings of the Century" CDs from EMI. Of course the other possibility is that I need hearing aid...Compared to 14 Waltzes, the latter 3 tracks have considerably more noise. Is this the case for yours, too?
