A brilliant parodist/singer and touchstone of his community, "Papa Lalo" was also
a great musical teacher of children.

Twenty years ago I bought my eight year old niece "Papa's Dream"a CD with Los Lobos (who
I've seen several times with her Dad). She didn't know who LL was but she knew Lalo Guerrero
as he'd performed at her school.
