I just picked up that set recently and I agree; the performances and recordings are very nice.
Still doesn't quite displace my favorite set: Haitink/RCO analog on Philips. Beautiful recordings, too. Both serenades are included = no brainer, or now on Decca including concertos which aren't quite the best but a better value.
