We've booked our first trip to Europe, next May/June, and I'm planning a couple of bucket list items for me-Carmen at the Vienna Statr Opera and the Mahler 2nd with Rattle and the Berlin Philharmonic at the Musikverein. Any advice on purchasing tickets, where to sit, good restaurants close to the venues, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
