St Pauls is Canberra's main Anglican church.
It oscillates between slightly high-church to middle of the road.
Herbert Howells' "A Spotless Rose" is a personal favourite. I first sang it in a carol service, when I was a pre-teen at Christchurch Cathedral in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. Back in the early 1960's.
This history also contained my early introduction to the whole HIP thing.
Search here under my moniker and 'organ' and 'cathedral', for my memories of those days. Audio happened through the ABC's recording engineers and one of the basses who was a real audiophile.
