lists Tchaikovsky as a top 10 composer. I like some of his music a lot but I don't see how he possibly belongs on this list, given the uneveness of his output and the small number of top shelf works. How many really, really good works did Pyotr write? I can think of maybe 6 or 7 (and I don't know Onegin). Pretty limited output.
