With a really wonderful cover of Neil Young's "Are you Ready for the
Country." I'm also a huge fan of Christy Moore, with or without Planxty,
of whom I am also quite fond. Then there's Horslips, the Pogues, Finbar
Furey (my favorite piper), and Mary Black's older stuff. Lots of other
stuff too, since I've been collection Irish LP's for many years now,
though I have nowhere near as much as LWR. It all began, oh, thirty
or so years ago when I stumbled upon a short video of Christy Moore
talking about wrestling with being a musician and drinking as a hazard
of playing in bars all the time; he then picked up his guitar and
played a tune I've never heard again that made me cry. Regards,
