Guarneri Trio Prague for the Piano Trios.
Vienna Octet on Decca (24/96 re-master) for the Octet.
I agree with Bambi B that the Philips Duos are a great value and resource but, although I like the Beaux Arts Trio, their violinist in the 60s had a thin string tone (on CD, at least) that I have difficulty listening to. My preference obviously is for a more full bodied sound. YMMV.
